Poverty Stricken

News about family tragedy wherein a mother or father poisoned or killed the whole family and later committing suicide has been prevalent in some poverty-stricken society. But is poverty really the cause for these killings? Neck-deep in poverty yet everywhere one look is a shining example of poor people struggling to be free of their poverty and succeeding, by lighting candles instead of cursing the darkness. In the absence of any evidence or witness who can actually prove beyond any doubt (and with the absence of video surveillance) that the instigator was driven by desperation born of poverty, all we have is a theory and the gullibility and the laziness-driven willingness of the police to swallow that theory hook, line and sinker without even so much as going through the motions of investigating.
